Fees & Insurance

Fees for Treatment

Therapy is billed as a fee for service for each therapy session. Please call (707) 595-3012 to discuss fees and charges for therapy services.

Insurance

At this time I am not an in-network provider with any insurance plans, however I am in the process of becoming an in-network provider with various insurance companies.

I am able to provide a superbill which patients can submit to their insurance to seek reimbursement for "out of network services." Not all insurance plans will reimburse for out of network services, so please check with your specific insurance provider.

If you would like to use your insurance, I can request a "single case agreement" with your insurance company. A single case agreement, sometimes called a "prior authorization," is a contract entered by an insurance company and a health care provider for a specific patient to receive treatment using their in-network benefits for treatment.

Please call with any questions you may have about my ability to bill your specific insurance carrier for services.

Good Faith Estimate Notice

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
